How to use EZPoolPRO® in a CHLORINATED POOL  

Automated Application

Dosage Guidelines: EZPoolPRO® (slurry of product)

Injection Ratio 12.8 ounces per 10,000 gallons daily

 *(Additional information about automated feed equipment can be found in the EZPRO Automation Section of the myAPiWater App)*

Automation Tips:

  1. When utilizing a chemical drum and slurry feed setup, it is best to rinse the drum and feeder before refilling the slurry.

  2. Set the slurry Mixer to run 30 minutes prior to feeding the slurry solution into the return lines.

  3. As with all chemicals, ensure you are wearing your personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling.

  4. Do not use the chemical scoop included in EZPoolPRO® for any other use. Do not replace moist scoop into container.

  5. When adding EZPoolPRO® to the slurry tank, always add chemical to water to avoid splash out.

  6. If utilizing EZPRO in conjunction with an ORP based chemical controller, it may be necessary to adjust your ORP settings after installation of the EZPRO system due to the effect of EZPoolPRO® on ORP.

     

                                                                                 

Manual Application

Dosage Guidelines: EZPoolPRO® 

1 pound per 10,000 gallons weekly

Manual Application Tips:

  1. When manually adding granular product,broadcast over the surface of the water or in front of a return. If any product remains on the bottom,brush to ensure it has dissolved.

  2. Do not use the chemical scoop included in EZPoolPRO® for any other use. Do not replace moist scoop into container.

  3. Do not apply any pool chemical while swimmers are in the pool.

  4. As with all chemicals, ensure you are wearing your personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling.

  5. If utilizing EZPRO in conjunction with an ORP based chemical controller, it may be necessary to adjust your ORP settings after adoption of the EZPRO system due to the effect of EZPoolPRO® on ORP.

  6. If utilizing EZPRO in conjunction with an ORP based chemical controller, it may be necessary turn controller off for 30 minutes after application to avoid any ORP interference.

  7. Without using an EZPRO automation system to apply chemicals, the program may not qualify as a supplemental treatment system. (Check with local codes for additional guidelines).
