Step 1: Vacuum, Clean & Balance Pool
Water Balance Parameters
Note: for required salt levels, refer to your specific generator instructions
Add 1 lb. PEPPER® per 10,000 gallons
Note: Add PEPPER® directly in front of pool jet or broadcast over pool surface with pump running
Every 2 weeks while pool is open:
Add 1/2 lb. PEPPER® per 10,000 gallons
Step 3: Test & Adjust
Test chlorine level after 7 days and adjust generator as needed.
Note: You will find that most generators can be operated at lower settings with continued use of PEPPER®
It's always best to inspect your salt cell prior to starting the PEPPER® program, clean it if necessary. Checking output is especially important on pools with automatic covers.
PEPPER® is ideal for covered pools and will help to cut down the amount of chemical related problems associated with covered pools.
For best results, test chlorine levels weekly for the first month and adjust ECG as necessary.
Optimizing the system performance has allowed many of our customers to decrease system output by about 20%.
