How To Use EZ SPA®

TO START

  1. Add EZ SPA® START to remove metals, phosphates, scaling carbonates and organic debris.

  2. Add UP, DOWN, and CAL as needed to balance spa water. (see parameters listed below).

  3. Add EZ SPA® E-Z BOOST at a dosage 1/2 oz per 100 gallons.

  4. Add EZ SPA® TOTAL CARE at a dosage of 1 oz per 100 gallons.

  5. After 12 hours rinse the cartridge filter

Water Balance Parameters

pH 7.2-7.6

TA 80-120ppm

CH>300ppm

CYA 0-25ppm

TB or TC 0.5-2.0ppm


Weekly Maintenance

  1. Add E-Z BOOST at a dosage of 1/8 oz per 100 gallons.

  2. Add TOTAL CARE at a dosage of 1oz per 100 gallons. For spas using ozone, mineral purifiers or salt add  1/2 oz per 100 gallons.

  3. Rinse cartridge and filter

EZ SPA® Recommended Usage:

EZ SPA® START to prepare the water by removing phosphates (algae food), metal and debris

EZ SPA® E-Z BOOST to sanitize and disinfect

EZ SPA® TOTAL CARE does the rest with a clarifier, stable oxidizer, stain and scale inhibitor, water conditioner, and balancers (pH, TA, and CH) to keep spa water clean, clear and trouble free.

                                                                  

TIPS

  • For best results, space water should be new or relatively new, if the spa water has been in the spa for more than three months, the spa should be drained before starting any new program. Typically, spas need to be drained every four to siz months. Spas using the EZ SPA® program can go siz to eight months, based on usage, between draining. Have a local EZ SPA® dealer check your spa for Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and if the reading is 1500ppm higher than your fill water, it's time to drain. If the spa has a built in ozonator or mineral system, which many newer spas do, be sure to adjust the TOTAL CARE dosage to 1 oz per 200 gallons.
  • Spa scents are fine to use with EZ SPA®. Large amounts of oils and additives will not be needed to mask chemical odors, so adjust amounts of scents as needed.
  • Don't forget to get your spa water tested once a month at your local EZ SPA® dealer
