PEPPER®

Why do I still need acid?

PEPPER® is formulated to control the higher pH normally associated with chlorine generator pools. When a pool has issues with circulation, correct equipment sizing, chlorine demand, or when the chlorine generator must be set to the highest settings to create a chlorine residual, a much higher pH must be overcome due to the generator running for longer periods. A PEPPER® pool requires far less acid.

Do I still need to regularly clean my salt cell?

Visual inspection of the cell on a routine basis is recommended. Salt pools on the PEPPER® require less cleaning; in most situations once every season or every other season.

Why did my chlorine level increase after using PEPPER®?

The PEPPER® formula contains an oxidizer that lowers chlorine demand. The chlorine generator can be turned to a lower setting.

Why is my PEPPER® hard?

Hardening indicates product contamination. The most likely culprit is that the product was exposed to moisture. This may occur when not closing the lid properly. When this occurs the top layer of product may clump or harden. Be sure to keep contents of container dry.

There are other "salt products" available. Why should I choose PEPPER®?

  • PEPPER® is a complete salt line in one bottle
  • Simple to use
  • Requires minimal balancing/testing
  • Optimizes the salt system efficiently
