I used Revive and now there is a foam on the surface.
The issue is caused by high surface tension. Keep the pump off and use a garden hose with a hose end sprayer and spray the pool surface for 5 minutes. Keep the pump off for another 24-48 hours until debris falls to the floor of the pool. Continue with vacuum instructions on product label.

Is Revive for pool clean-ups only?
Revive does the work of several products- phosphate remover, metal treatment, flocculant and clarifier and scale inhibitor. Revive START UP/CLEAN UP is formulated for use on new pool startups, replaster/remodel/refills, spring openings, abandoned pools, severe algae cleanups. Revive WEEKLY is a product that provides a proactive approach to virtually eliminating all common pool problems by treating for them on a weekly basis.
